Les spots LED sont vraiment prisés sur le marché du luminaire. Véritable phénomène, grand chouchou de l’éclairage des bureaux, en entreprise ainsi que dans les commerces, le spot LED a aussi rapidement rejoint un usage domestique.
L’ampoule LED fonctionne par une recombinaison d’électrons, ceux-ci produisant de l’énergie qui engendre de la lumière, avec un très faible dégagement de chaleur et de rayonnement. Mais comment installer ce dispositif ? Ce n’est pas si compliqué qu’il n’y parait, nous allons le voir…
Les étapes d’installation d’un spot LED encastrable
Le spot LED encastrable doit être d’abord assemblé avant d’être installé.
Celui-ci est composé selon le modèle, d’un spot LED avec un culot suivant ledit modèle ; d’une douille céramique ; d’un transformateur LED (optionnel du fait de votre système électrique) avec ou sans dominos ; et d’un support de spot encastrable.
Une fois le montage du spot fait, il ne nous reste plus qu’à installer le tout dans notre circuit électrique. Pour se faire, il faut passer par 7 étapes primordiales, après avoir coupé votre compteur électrique pour des questions évidentes de sécurité…
À l’aide d’une scie cloche, d’une perceuse et d’un tournevis, procédez comme suit :
Étape 1
Choisir une scie cloche en fonction du trou que l’on veut percer, et qui dépend bien sûr du diamètre du spot à monter.
Étape 2
Percez le plafond à l’endroit où vous aurez décidé de placer votre spot (notez que cette opération concerne pour la plupart du temps, les faux plafonds).
Étape 3
À l’aide du tournevis, raccrochez les fils d’alimentation électriques aux bornes de la douille du spot.
Étape 4
Emboitez votre spot dans le trou que vous aurez percé à l’étape 2, en redressant les ressorts de maintien du spot. Il est important de bien fixer le spot jusqu’au bout dans le trou, pour un encastrement réussi.
Étape 5
Prenez votre ampoule, et fixez-la sur la douille en en insérant tous les câbles électriques dans le plafond : rien ne doit dépasser.
Étape 6
Déposez votre clip de maintien de l’ampoule dans le spot, afin qu’elle ne glisse pas du dispositif.
Étape 7 et dernière
Remettez votre courant dans le circuit, allumez votre lampe, et voilà !
Votre installation de spot LED encastrable est réussie ! Vous pourrez désormais profiter de la lumière tamisée que votre spot offre, et du design qu’il propose à vos pièces à vivre.
Note importante, si cette installation vous parait compliquée, ne prenez aucun risque inconsidéré, et faites plutôt appel à un électricien.
Ne vous improvisez pas bricoleur ou électricien et il est préférable de confier ce type de travaux à des électriciens dont ce type de travaux fait partit de leur routine.
